For lunging, we recommend a nose bow made of either fiberglass or metal: embedded in the soft padding, the nose bow ensures that the Equizaum® cavesson sits even more snugly and provides even more precise aids. The nose bow offers sufficient flexibility but also sufficient stability and adapts perfectly to the horse’s nose. Your horse can chew off, remains loose in the jaw joint and thus in the poll.
The fiberglass bow is extremely light, is not bulky and still provides very good additional stability. You can shape the metal bow made of bendable copper to the bridge of your horse’s nose by bending it.
All our cushions are attached with Velcro and can therefore be changed in no time at all.

After over a year of daily use with mud, rain, frost, rolling around in the arena, lunging, riding, walking, handwork, fright training and pretty much one hose down with the garden hose, the Equizaum still looks tiptop and has no scratches or anything else that I could complain about. I actually only use the Equizaum for lunging. I have to say, I just love it – and so does my Icelandic horse! Thank you for this great innovative bridle, Equimero!
